Anda Ghotala (Healthy Egg Recipe)




Hello Everyone...


Its no secrete now that Eggs are just go to breakfast or even sometimes easy meal (call it Lunch or Dinner) in my kitchen as they are loved by my family including my little one. There are so many ways in which you can cook them and they make you feel oh, this is the best version until they prove you wrong in their next one again.

Anda Ghotala is one such super flavorful egg recipe and its so filling as I like. Check out detailed recipe as I make it and you will know what I mean to say.



Prep Time: 15 mins

Cook Time: 15 mins

Servings: 2


Ingredients:

  • Hard boiled Eggs : 2

  • Raw Egg : 1

  • Onion : 1 medium size

  • Tomato : 1

  • Coriander Leaves :

  • Butter : 1 tbsp

  • Some Dry Spice Powders : Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder : 1 tsp Coriander Powder : 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 tsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil to cook


Lets Get Cooking :


Boil 2 eggs for 15 minutes on medium low flame to get those Hard Boiled ones.


  1. Finely chop Onion and Tomato and keep them separately.

  2. Take a nonstick pan and heat some oil in it (around 1 tbsp).

  3. Once Oil is hot, add finely chopped Onion to it. Saute well till Onion gets soft and translucent. Add Tomatoes after this and cook them till they get mushy.

  4. Time to add all powdered spices mentioned above and keep mixing for a minute till our spices get cook well without getting burnt. Once they are cooked a bit add half glass of water to help all flavors come together.

  5. Cook for couple of minutes on low flame and add finely chopped Coriander leaves along with Salt and mix well.

  6. now lets crack a raw egg directly in the mixture. Mix Mix.

  7. When the egg is half done and mixture in still moist, start grating our hard boiled eggs in the same and saute everything together.

  8. Add Butter on top of it and mix well till butter melts completely.

  9. Switch off the flame and garnish with some Coriander leaves and a nice Sunny side up on top of it.


How to Serve :

  • Serve hot with Bread, Paav or Chapati.

  • It can also be a good side for plain dal and Rice.
